Report

This is an ongoing endeavour to look at how it came to pass that Sunderland University are in a position to make important decisions about the future of Sunderland’s National Glass Centre without any public consultation.

This report evidences why the National Glass Centre is so important to the local cultural and creative economy. It also evidences the multitude of reasons why the campaign believes that if the National Glass Centre was to pass back into the hands of a local interest company, (at similarly favourable terms as the University originally received the building), that it could be extremely prestigious for Sunderland on the global scale, and more profitable to the locality by introducing other income streams.

This is an evolving document, and will be updated as necessary.
